We discovered Adventure Camper Rentals on Google. We rented two tent campers and two SUVs for 10 days for a 1400 mile trip through 5 national parks. We had 3 adults and 4 children. While I am an experienced travel trailer owner, the other 2 adults on the trip had never towed or set up a trailer before. I had never used a pop up tent camper, so even I was a bit of a novice.
The experience was, in a word: perfect…

My wife and I wanted to do a affordable vacation and Adventure camper was defineitly the best place to do this. I did research and found that they were the most affordable, especially compared to the bigger name outfits. You also get personal service (talking to the same person every time) which is priceless to me. The pop up was only 1 year old and was in mint condition. Everything worked perfectly, and it made for a very enjoyable vacation. Thanks Adventure Camper!!

I spent a the last week of September fly fishing the South Platte in and around Elevenmile Canyon with a Viking 2108ST and a KIA SUV from Adventure Camper Rentals. I like to get on the water early, and off late, and having my “home base” 50 feet from the river is a real luxury…This is the second time in 3 years that I’ve rented an SUV and camper from Ray and the crew; both times were good experiences. Coming from out of state as I do, the airport pickup/drop-off service they offer is a great help too. (Read Full Review)

My two boys and I do big road trips every year. We decided to do Rocky Mountain NP this last summer and rented a tent trailer from these guys (Adventure Camper Rentals). When we arrived it turned out that our bikes on our bike rack would not work…But, one of the guys there that pretty much is the Macgyver of their business said he would make it work. They hooked up their hitch and their bike rack and rigged the chains etc. to make it work…we had a fantastic time and the trailer was perfect. They never charged me extra for anything. I would rent from them or refer anyone to them absolutely!!! (Read Full Review)

This was our first experience camping with a pop-up. The staff was awesome! They answered all of my questions on the phone. AND let me tell you that I kept thinking of new questions, so I had to call many times. Each and every time they were very patient. The paperwork was very prompt. When we arrived, everything was waiting for us. This company is very professional. Also, we were really impressed with the care and pride they showed for the campers. I highly recommend renting from Adventure Camper.

We rented a 12 passenger van for our ski trip to Copper Mountain ski resort. Great on gas, plenty of room for our group. We had a better experience than what you would get at the airport. I just wanted to let you know that renting from you was a wonderful experience and would recommend it to anybody heading to any of your locations.
We will see you again next year.

I just wanted to than Ray and his team for excellent service and in helping my family and I have an exceptional vacation. In August I had an opportunity to take an extended trip through the Rockies and up into Wyoming that was really a once-in-a-lifetime event. The team at Adventure Camper worked with us and our specific needs to make it a great event. We were able to see some wonderful regions and to take our time largely due to the fact that we were able to get a trailer and the support to make it happen. I think the wife and kids would probably have revolted if we tried to do it in a tent and there was no way we could do it in hotels. Renting a 16’ Viking let us drive out from Virginia without having to tow a trailer, and fit the bill perfectly for a family of 4 for such an extended period. A solar battery charger and an extra propane tank were also good things to have.
Cheers and thanks, Eric Harter
We rented a pop-up camper from you in the summer of 2008 and toured all the national parks of the Colorado Plateau. It was the best family vacation we’ve had and we keep talking about it. I just wanted to let you know that renting from you was a wonderful experience; you were very helpful, accommodating, and easy to do business with. We are now planning another road trip from Cleveland, OH to the Northern Rockies this summer. I just wish you had a location that fit in with our itinerary. The farthest west we could afford to pick up a camper would be South Dakota. I hope we have another chance to camp in Colorado; if we do, we will contact you first.
There he stood this age old man, so proud and pleased with rod in hand.
A gentle breeze, a bright blue sky made him think of days gone by. When his little ones did run and play, never thinking of another day.
His hopes and dreams have all but passed but his prayers for them will always last.

As we have for many years, we rented a pop-up from Adventure Camper and spent a week fly fishing through Wyoming and Montana. This year we spent most of the time floating the Bighorn River near Fort Smith, Montana. We had amazing weather for Mid-April. In fact, we heard it was snowing in Denver while we were getting sunburned on the river.
The Viking pop-up was perfect for our group of guys. It’s basic enough that it feels like camping, but at the same time you have a nice soft bed, protection from the rain and wind, power (with the generator) and a heater if you need it. We only used the heater one night this trip, but on other trips we have used it to to stay toasty while it snowed and blowed outside. It can get pretty breezy in Wyoming.
Everything worked perfectly and we again had a great time. Thanks for all your help, great product and great service. Now if you guys only rented drift boats as well…:)

Mary at the Colorado Springs office remembered us from last year when we rented a camper. It was so nice that even though we had met her one time she still remembered our group. She was so nice, funny and informative.
We have rented a camper from this place two years in a row when we have come out to visit our kids and both times have been exceptional. The campers are very clean and a great way to camp in CO. We will use this company and work with Mary every year we come out to Colorado.
Give Mary a raise….”WE LOVE MARY”!!!!!

For the past several years we have rented a pop-up camper from Adventure Rentals and headed up to Wyoming on a Spring fishing trip. Friends that love to fly fish come into DIA from all over the country, we pick them up, and then drive up I-25 into Wyoming. We fish the North Platte river system which consists of a string of tailwaters (below dams) and some of the best fishing in the country.
Our pop-ups have always been first rate and the experience of camping right next to the river can’t be beat. The expense is also very reasonable since we split the cost between 4 guys. We also like the low profile of the pop-up since Wyoming is known to be a little “breezy.” In any case, renting a pop-up is the perfect way to explore Wyoming and Colorado while staying warm, dry, mobile, and comfortable.

At the end of September I had written you with some questions about renting a camper trailer for a 3 day “trial run” as my wife and I recently retired and are thinking of doing a longer trip next spring. You promptly replied to my inquiry and answered my questions.
However, at that time, I had a 2500/250 hitch on my Jeep Cherokee and your Colorado Springs office informed me that I definitely needed a Class II hitch for the Viking 1906. Consequently, I purchased and installed the required hitch along with a 4 to 7 wire adapter. The Class II hitch also gives me the advantage of having multiple draw bars with different size hitch balls and a rear mounted bicycle rack.
This Monday I rented the Viking 1906 from your Denver location for a short camping trip to Carter Lake in Larimer county. We had a great experience with the camper trailer which was definitely luxury camping for us.
I wanted to let you know that I found your website well organized and informative, your training video on setting up and taking down the “pop up” camper excellent, and Ed was very helpful and took the time to answer all of my many questions about how things worked on the camper. I look forward to renting from your company again.

I just wanted to thank you for all of your generosity that you showed me while I was having car problems and getting the camper back to you a couple of weeks ago.
We had a great trip and can’t wait to rent another camper in the future. The guy who gave us and too us back to the camper (can’t remember his name) was very kind and helpful also.
Thanks for being so understanding.

We wanted the owner(s) to know of the GREAT customer service we received at your business, and how your employee Ed, helped save our weekend.
First, we had my kids here so we decided to rent a camper for the weekend. When we got there it was already 4PM, Ed went over everything in detail with us, making sure that we knew everything needed. He pointed out the phone number just in case we had any problems, and he told us that it didn’t matter what time of night, if we have a problem to call period.
Once we got to hook up the trailer, we found out that the wiring didn’t work, we thought our weekend with the kids was done. Ed took the time to explain our options, he said he would stay as late as needed to save our weekend, well after fixing the wiring, and double checking that everything worked the way it should, we were on our way.
My kids had a blast, they want to go camping again, but they made it clear, they want to rent the same trailer. By the time we pulled out of the lot, it had to have been 6PM, one hour after you closed. You have no idea what “customer service” means to me. With customer service like what Ed showed, WE WILL BE BACK, your company has a customer for life. We wish more businesses had employees like Ed, he is an asset to your business.
Thank you Ed, for saving our weekend.
Thank you Adventure Rentals, for having GREAT employees.

I had a great experience renting one of your camping trailers in early November 2005. We went to Kansas on a pheasant hunting trip. Our hunting trip was a success.
Thanks again for a pleasant experience with your product and people. I hope to do more business with your company in the future.
