Want to bring your best friend?
We are a pet-friendly organization. You may bring your pet at no additional charge; we only ask that you clean up after your pet before returning our camper. There is a minimum $50 cleaning fee of any pet hair or odor removal if performed by our technicians after the camper is returned.
Things to remember when camping with a pet:
- Most camp sites allow pets, but you should check first, some require an additional fee.
- Keep your pet on a leash both for their safety and the safety of others camping nearby to you.
- Remember to bring extra water (bowls and food) for your pet.
- Clean up after your pet.
- Keep an eye on your pet; many new smells and sights will bring out their curiosity.
- Keep your pet quiet.
Are your rentals non-smoking?
All of our rentals, campers, travel trailers, SUV’s and vans are non-smoking. Our contracts state that all rentals are non-smoking. IF there is smoking in any of our rentals there is a minimum $50 charge for odor removal and any rental time loss while the cleaning and odor removal is taking place. Please be considerate of others and do not smoke in our rentals.
Do I need insurance coverage? Are your rentals insured?
Our campers and travel trailers are insured for collision and liability and they carry a $500 deductible for damage. This covers damage to the interior of the rentals including but not limited to rips and tears of tent material or fabric, flooring, cabinetry, tables, curtains, missing accessories, damaged appliances, etc. No insurance covers damage due to negligence or abuse.
SUV’s and passenger vans may be covered by your own auto policy or possibly your credit card. Adventure Camper offers an additional policy which covers damage to the tow vehicles for $15 per day.
We do offer a Damage Waiver on all camper rentals for a nominal fee. This waiver offers coverage on all accidental damage with no deductible. If the damage is considered to be due to negligence, you will be responsible for the full replacement or repair of the damaged item(s) including parts and labor.
The cost of our Damage Waiver is a flat fee of $60 per week with a maximum of $120 per month.
Advance Booking
You’ve heard the saying “The early bird gets the worm!”, this statement could not be more accurate when planning your family vacation. Whether it is Spring Break, summer holidays or hunting season – booking your camper rental should be one of the top items on your to-do list.
Although we do have a large fleet of campers, they are often booked fairly early. So in order to get the size camper and layout you prefer, it is best to book as early as possible. If you are unsure of the exact date, book it anyway. We do allow changes at no cost as long as we have advance notice of 21 days or more.
Our suggestions for timeline of booking your reservation are as follows:
| Spring Break, early season camping | 2-3 weeks in advance |
| Summer Vacation (non-holiday) | 4-6 weeks in advance |
| Holiday Weekends | 1-2 months in advance |
| Hunting and late season | 2-3 weeks in advance |
