When most of your year is spent dealing with the hassle of the work week, nothing relaxes the senses like a stay in the seclusion of the great outdoors. One particularly scenic spot to take your WY RV rental for your next excursion into the wilderness is Grand Teton National Park.

With over 130,000 square feet of wilderness, this national park has more than enough space for you and your family to have an energizing camping trip. Take your pop up camper rental from Adventure Camper Rentals out to Grand Teton National Park and let the stresses of everyday life melt away in the gorgeous, mountainous landscape of the American Northwest.

Activities

While visiting Grand Teton National Park, you’ll have a plethora of exciting activities to choose from. Summertime brings with it several activity options. Trekking through the park’s more than 200 miles of hiking trails could be a great way to release tension. Or, gazing on the spectacular mountain scenery will surely calm your mind. Other activities like bird watching, biking, and boating at nearby Jackson Lake are all viable options for a memorable camping experience.

Camping

The park has six campgrounds to choose from. Two campgrounds (Colter Bay Campground and Headwaters Campground and RV Sites at Flagg Ranch) have hook-ups for your travel trailer or WY RV rental and include laundry and shower facilities.

Exercise Caution

Camping is ultimately a relaxing experience, but there are still some dangers that can arise. This park is home to both black and brown bears, and they can pose a significant risk to the unprepared camper. Make sure to be aware of any bear sightings near your campsite and always follow the park’s guidelines for what to do if you encounter one of these fierce and majestic beasts.

Www.adventurecamper.com is your go-to provider of camper rentals in Wyoming.

So far this has been a great year for America’s national parks.

New parks and monuments have been created in California, Colorado, Delaware, Maryland, New Mexico, Virginia and Washington, continuing the original mission of “the preservation of the scenery, of the forests … and the wilderness game for the people as a whole instead of leaving the enjoyment thereof to be confined to the very rich,” as President Teddy Roosevelt envisioned.

One hundred and forty years after Yellowstone became the nation’s first national park, the Park Service finally has a presence in all 50 states, from the volcanoes of Hawaii to the First State monument in Delaware, more than 400 sites in all.

However, as filmmakers Dayton Duncan and Ken Burns, who made the PBS documentary “The National Parks: America’s Best Idea,” recently wrote in USA TODAY, the parks are facing a financial challenge:

“The budget stalemate in Washington, known as ‘the sequester,’ is hitting the national parks especially hard. Right at the moment when these treasures are preparing for the busiest part of their year, the mandatory across-the-board funding cuts mean park managers won’t be able to hire all the seasonal workers needed for the tourist season. Some campsites will have to be closed. Some interpretive programs led by the nation’s most popular government employees, National Park Service rangers, may not be offered.”

This should not deter anyone from enjoying a vacation in one of our wonderful national parks this season. In fact, a visit to a national park, such as Yellowstone in Wyoming or Rocky Mountain in Colorado, is a great way to show your support for our national treasures. At Adventure Camper, we have the latest information on conditions in both parks and can help you plan your trip to ensure a full outdoor experience for you and your family.

If you want more information about the parks and how you can help support them, visit the website of the National Park Foundation, the official nonprofit partner of America’s national parks. NPF raises private funds to directly aid and enrich the parks and their programs to keep them accessible to all visitors.

A summer family vacation in the Rocky Mountains is the perfect way to de-stress from a busy commuting lifestyle. The clean air, the open spaces, the breathtaking scenery all combine to reinvigorate you like a visit to nowhere else. Getting out into the natural environment in a pop-up camper or travel trailer lets you drink in the total experience, on your own schedule.

If you’re like most of our visitors, your everyday vehicle meets your everyday transportation needs — to work, to shop, to school, to kids’ activities, and back again — and it’s not suited to towing a pop-up into one of our magnificent National Parks. And if you are flying into Colorado or Wyoming to begin your camping adventure, you already need to rent a car — but none of the major car rental companies will allow you to use their vehicles to tow a camper.

That’s why Adventure Camper offers combination camper-and-vehicle rental packages. Whether you arrive in Denver or Jackson Hole from the East Coast or England, a camp-and-drive combo gets you on your way with just one stop.

Adventure Camper puts a high-quality camper together with a powerful van or SUV to tow it, all for one affordable price. You select the vehicle and the camper based on the number of people in your party, and we do the rest. We’ll even pick up you at Denver International or the Jackson Hole airport.

These unique camp-and-drive deals are limited and extremely popular. You can reserve this special package today online or contact us at 800-250-3184 to get started.

Camping (while not entirely a dangerous endeavor) does bring with it certain challenges. Creature comforts we take for granted become glaringly obvious when spending significant time away from “civilization” among the actual creatures. There are some things you can do, however, to make your stay in the great outdoors go much more smoothly.

When you get your hands on a pop up camper rental from Adventure Camper Rentals, you’re already well on your way to making your camping excursion much more comfortable.

Perhaps you don’t care about making your camping trip comfortable. Some people feel like bringing along too many reminders of home; this defeats the purpose of disconnecting from modern luxuries for a few days while in the wilderness.

That might be fine for them, but some of us want to convene with nature on our own terms. Here are some camping survival tips to help make your transition from the city to the campsite a little easier:

Bring Water: You can never bring too much water. When you’re overheated from relaxing in the sun or exhausted after a hike, you’ll be glad you brought a few gallons with you.

Cleanliness: A lot of people avoid camping all together due to the fact that camping is inherently dirty. They could easily bring along hand sanitizer, wet wipes, bar soap, and toothpaste to make themselves feel more civilized. Just because nature is filthy doesn’t mean you have to be (unless you want to, being dirty while camping is perfectly acceptable).

Cooking: Preparing meals at the campsite can get messy (for s’mores this is a necessity). However, there are some techniques that can take some hassle out of the experience. Prepackaging meals for ready-to-go cooking saves a great deal of time.

An innovative technique is to store cooking spices in straws that have been melted together on either end. Not only does this save space for packing, it makes seasoning food over the fire a snap – simply snip one end of the straw and pour the contents onto the food.

Remember to dispose of the plastic straw properly, though. Keep nature tidy while you’re a guest there. You wouldn’t want a bear walking into your home and leaving the leftovers from its meal all over the living room. The number-one rule of good camping etiquette is that you leave with everything you brought into the campground.

Www.adventurecamper.com has what you need to get the most out of your camping experience, regardless of where you’re headed. From travel trailer rentals to even combination rentals that allow you to tow your own pop up camper rental, Adventure Camper Rentals has everything you need to make your next camping trip the most memorable yet. Contact Adventure Camper today at (303) 680-3670 and let us help you get started on your next great adventure.

Warmer weather brings endless opportunities for outdoor fun and exploration. One of the best places in Colorado to indulge your love of the outdoors is Rocky Mountain National Park.

People have been fascinated with the awe-inspiring splendor of the Rocky Mountains for centuries. Native Americans first called this mountainous region home as early as 10,000 years ago, and the park aims at maintaining its rich natural and cultural heritage. With your Colorado camper rental from Adventure Camper Rentals, you’ll be able to visit the park and take part in keeping the legend of the Rockies alive.

With over 415 square miles of space, Rocky Mountain National Park has more than enough room to accommodate the high volumes of visitors the park welcomes each year.

Things To Do

There are plenty of activities to enjoy while visiting Rocky Mountain National Park.

•Hiking: Experience the sprawling Rocky Mountain landscape like the residents from thousands of years ago did, and take a hike through the park’s 300 miles of hiking trails.

•Fishing: Any anglers in the family will be excited to know that there are several bodies of water open for fishing. Be sure to note the specific guidelines set forth by the staff, as this is a federally protected park.

•Great Drives: The breathtaking views of Rocky Mountain National Park will be at your command as you traverse through aspen groves and lowland meadows in your SUV rental from Adventure Camper Rentals. The drive through the Rockies is one of the most scenic the country has to offer.

Www.adventurecamper.com wants you to get the most out of your Colorado excursion.

Adventure Camper Rentals has revved up for the summer with a redesigned website that showcases its large selection of camper rentals, vehicle rentals, and other services. The website’s user-friendly navigation, dynamic content, and online reservation system enable users to easily plan a vacation in Colorado or Wyoming.

Adventure Camper Rentals redesigned its website, making it easier for consumers to find it on the Internet and make reservations quickly. The website’s simple interface displays the various models, amenities, and rates of the campers. The website is http://www.adventurecamper.com.

Adventure Camper Rentals offers a variety of services, including van and SUV rentals, camper rentals and sales, and mechanical services.

“We have so many outstanding rentals that we wanted to make it easy for people to find us online,” said owner Ray Reeves. “We also wanted to give the website an adventurous, outdoorsy feel to mirror the types of vacations that we offer.”

However, facilitating reservations isn’t the only thing the website does. It also functions as a one-stop shop for families planning a trip out West. Consumers can find everything from a video that shows how to set up a pop-up camper to information on dozens of the West’s best destinations. It also features detailed packing lists, advice on how to tow a camper, and helpful answers to frequently asked questions. Read Complete Press Release

We think there’s nothing better than a pop-up camper for getting the whole family out into the great outdoors. They provide all the comforts of home in an easy-to-use package that goes anywhere.

We have rented pop-ups to visitors from all over the world eager to experience the legendary natural beauty of Colorado and Wyoming. Over the years, we’ve learned that there are many ways to describe our recreational vehicles. Pop-up campers are also known as tent campers, tent trailers, folding trailers, folding campers, camping trailers, even hybrid campers.

Whatever you call it, a pop-up is between 12 and 20 feet long when folded up for towing, and light enough to be towed by most standard SUVs or passenger vans. It quickly unfolds to about twice its towing length to provide comfortable sleeping and dining space for anywhere from three to eight people, depending on the size. There’s plenty of room to pack everything you need to get started on your outdoor adventure as soon as you arrive at your destination. Luxury models can also include hot water showers and indoor toilets.

What pop-ups are not are motorhomes, caravans, Airstreams, toy haulers, camper vans, truck campers, trailer coaches or fifth-wheels. These are all very different vehicles, some much larger than a pop-up — some aren’t even trailers at all! We do have some larger, hard-sided travel trailers available, as well as a full line of passenger vans and SUVs, for towing or just going.

Our pop-ups and trailers are all manufactured by one of the top names in the business: Viking, a family-owned and operated company located in the USA.

By any other name, your pop-up vacation will be just as sweet when you rent from Adventure Camper. Make your reservations early for this summer’s camping season.

The magnificent wildflowers start to burst into bloom right about now. You can discover pockets of them in the forests and on the mountain ledges. Temperatures are delightful by day and bracing by night. Sometimes there’s not a cloud in the sky. And your vacation disposition can be just as sunny!

Still Spring can also bring rapid changes in the weather. Locals will tell you that if you don’t like the weather right now, just wait 5 minutes – it will change. Easter Weekend this year brought Denver temperatures that ranged from below freezing to nearly 70 degrees in one day, wind-driven rain showers, and an unbelievably beautiful calm sunrise in a cloudless sky.

One way to give yourself a workable advantage over fickle Mother Nature is to go camping in a pop-up trailer. You won’t be pitching a tent on the muddy ground, the sturdy structure won’t be gone with a sudden and short-lived wind gust, and the hard-shell roof will keep any rain or snow showers – and intense sun — off you and your family. And if the weather gets too wild, a pop-up packs up quickly and tows easily for an orderly return to civilization.

The forces of nature are always close at hand in the Rockies. Whenever you plan to go camping, pay attention to the weather forecast and take any warnings seriously so you can take in all the spectacular scenery safely.

If you want to get out and into Mother Nature before the rush of vacationers do, give us a call now. We’ve got a selection of immaculate, Spring-hardy pop-up campers to take on an early vacation into the Rocky Mountains – just you and wildlife and wildflowers for companions this time of year!

A family camping trip can be a real adventure – it’s a chance to get off the beaten path and spend time not only discovering the natural world but rediscovering each other. In our busy lives, that can be the best reason to pack up and get away.

So who wants to spend that special time putting up and taking down tents or hauling loads of equipment? Nobody I know.

That’s why pop-up campers are so popular with families who want to take a road trip that is hassle-free for everybody. Inexpensive, a snap to set up, easier to
maneuver than a ginormous RV, and a way to get close to nature
without giving up comfort or convenience.

A pop-up camper really does offer the best of both worlds.

The only way it gets any better is to rent your pop-up when and where you want to start your adventure rather than taking on the year-round expense of owning and storing one.

Rentals are ready when you are, maintained by professionals, and can be picked up and dropped off at your convenience. At Adventure Campers, we take care of all the taxes, licenses and fees while you have all the fun. We can even provide a vehicle to tow your camper, and complete instruction on towing, setting and packing up – we can even give you inside tips on the best places to camp in Colorado and Wyoming.

Talk about a no-hassle vacation!
Yes, let’s talk about it. Call Ray at (800) 250-3184

Even after 130 years, the world’s first national park is still one of the best. Yellowstone’s 3,468 square miles not only protect world-famous bubbling and spurting geysers, breathtaking waterfalls and astounding geological formations, they also allow tourists the opportunity to observe animals such as bison, moose and bears as they go about their wild lives.

Come late Spring, Yellowstone will be ready to receive its annual 3.4 million visitors as usual. Once the winter snow melts from the lower reaches of the park, the campgrounds will fill up fast with families eager to take advantage of an experience that is truly available only in America.

Yellowstone is about a 12-hour drive from Denver International Airport. When the Adventure Camper driver hands you the keys to your rental SUV and pop-up camper, you can begin your journey. There are many delightful spots in Colorado and Wyoming to explore, and towing a pop-up from Adventure Camper makes it easy to set up camp. You’ll have shelter — and a hot shower — even when there are more trees than motels ahead.

If you’d rather spend more time exploring Yellowstone, Adventure Camper is also conveniently located in Jackson, Wyo., not far from the south entrance.

So make this summer the one where you get out to America’s first national park. We’ll be waiting for you to help make your vacation memorable and affordable.
