This was our first experience camping with a pop-up. The staff in Jackson were awesome! They answered all of my questions on the phone. AND let me tell you that I kept thinking of new questions, so I had to call many times. Each and every time they were very patient. The paperwork was very prompt. When we arrived, everything was waiting for us. This company is very professional. Also, we were really impressed with the care and pride they showed for the campers. I highly recommend renting from Adventure Camper.

We rented a 12 passenger van for our ski trip to Copper Mountain ski resort. Great on gas, plenty of room for our group. We had a better experience than what you would get at the airport. I just wanted to let you know that renting from you was a wonderful experience and would recommend it to anybody heading to any of your locations.

3 Weeks in a Pop-up

I just wanted to than Ray and his team for excellent service and in helping my family and I have an exceptional vacation. In August I had an opportunity to take an extended trip through the Rockies and up into Wyoming that was really a once-in-a-lifetime event. The team at Adventure Camper worked with us and our specific needs to make it a great event. We were able to see some wonderful regions and to take our time largely due to the fact that we were able to get a trailer and the support to make it happen. I think the wife and kids would probably have revolted if we tried to do it in a tent and there was no way we could do it in hotels. Renting a 16’ Viking let us drive out from Virginia without having to tow a trailer, and fit the bill perfectly for a family of 4 for such an extended period. A solar battery charger and an extra propane tank were also good things to have.

We rented a pop-up camper from you in the summer of 2008 and toured all the national parks of the Colorado Plateau. It was the best family vacation we’ve had and we keep talking about it. I just wanted to let you know that renting from you was a wonderful experience; you were very helpful, accommodating, and easy to do business with. We are now planning another road trip from Cleveland, OH to the Northern Rockies this summer. I just wish you had a location that fit in with our itinerary. The farthest west we could afford to pick up a camper would be South Dakota. I hope we have another chance to camp in Colorado; if we do, we will contact you first.

Viking Pop-up Was Great for Our Fishing Trip

As we have for many years, we rented a pop-up from Adventure Camper and spent a week fly fishing through Wyoming and Montana. This year we spent most of the time floating the Bighorn River near Fort Smith, Montana. We had amazing weather for Mid-April. In fact, we heard it was snowing in Denver while we were getting sunburned on the river.
The Viking pop-up was perfect for our group of guys. It’s basic enough that it feels like camping, but at the same time you have a nice soft bed, protection from the rain and wind, power (with the generator) and a heater if you need it. We only used the heater one night this trip, but on other trips we have used it to to stay toasty while it snowed and blowed outside. It can get pretty breezy in Wyoming.
Everything worked perfectly and we again had a great time. Thanks for all your help, great product and great service. Now if you guys only rented drift boats as well…:)

Mary at the Colorado Springs office remembered us from last year when we rented a camper. It was so nice that even though we had met her one time she still remembered our group. She was so nice, funny and informative.
We have rented a camper from this place two years in a row when we have come out to visit our kids and both times have been exceptional. The campers are very clean and a great way to camp in CO. We will use this company and work with Mary every year we come out to Colorado.

Spring Fishing

For the past several years we have rented a pop-up camper from Adventure Rentals and headed up to Wyoming on a Spring fishing trip. Friends that love to fly fish come into DIA from all over the country, we pick them up, and then drive up I-25 into Wyoming. We fish the North Platte river system which consists of a string of tailwaters (below dams) and some of the best fishing in the country.
Our pop-ups have always been first rate and the experience of camping right next to the river can’t be beat. The expense is also very reasonable since we split the cost between 4 guys. We also like the low profile of the pop-up since Wyoming is known to be a little “breezy.” In any case, renting a pop-up is the perfect way to explore Wyoming and Colorado while staying warm, dry, mobile, and comfortable.
