Camper Life
Camping in one of our
Fleetwood or Quicksilver tent campers allows you the best of both worlds for camping options. All of
our units have many amenities that allow you to maintain many of the comforts
of your own home while still experiencing the whole reason you went camping,
living in the outdoors. |

OUR FLEETWOOD SANTA FE , COBALT,
AND SUN VALLEY CAMPERS — |
| These tent campers have awnings,
stoves, comfortable beds, heaters, lights, sinks and most with refridgerators and even hot water exterior showers. If one of the Rockies afternoon
showers comes to visit, your camper keeps you and your belongings nice and dry.
You'll get a good nights rest by sleeping on a high density mattress instead of tossing and turning on a thin foam pad
layed over the rocks under your tent. Enjoy ease of meal preparation instead of
learning how to cook over an open campfire, and warm comfort from the on board forced air furnace on those chilly
mountain nights! After dinner you may want to sit down with the family and play
Monopoly or backgammon, or just sit and read a book. You've got comfortable
seating and a well-lighted table in the camper, or you can bring the table
outside to enjoy the evening. |
| |
| The real beauty of staying
in a tent camper is that unlike living in an RV, you and your family still
experience the wonder of living in the outdoors. At night you can hear the
whistle of wind through the pines, nature's own sleeping pill after a long day
of hiking, fishing or biking. When morning breaks in the mountains, you can
hear nature coming to life as the blue jays, chipmunks and other small animals
begin their day. You can open up the full picture windows in the camper to let
the morning light and the fresh air flood in, see the spectacular scenery
around you, and if your lucky and quiet, maybe the kids will see a small herd
of deer or elk grazing in the meadows or between the trees. While sitting in
the camper you can smell the pines and the fresh air around you. All of our
units have extra fine 18 mesh screening on the windows, plenty of ventilation,
but the mosquitoes will have to go elsewhere for their meal! Enjoy lunch under
your awning in the cool shade, or just sit and look at the view. You are not
insulated from nature as you are in an RV; you are part of it. The sounds of
the outdoors are not drowned out by the portable television and
microwave. |

QUICKSILVER TENT CAMPERS |
| This line of tent campers is new for 2006, and features top quality construction materials featuring all-aluminum construction and quality workmanship. Quicksilver is the only non-wood tent camper in the market. These tent campers are more basic than the Fleetwood campers, with mattresses, sink, built in ice chest, and lights. Portable gas stoves and electric heaters are also available. These ultra light tent campers are easy to tow with even small vehicles, easy to set-up, comfortable and trouble free |

CAMPGROUND FACILITIES,
WHAT TO BRING — |
| Many campgrounds offer
electrical hookups, restroom and even shower facilities. All of these
conveniences can make your stay even easier, but you at least need restroom
facilities, as our pop-up trailers do not have them. Our units come with fully charged
Deep Cycle batteries for power to the lights and furnace. Depending on how much
you use the furnace in particular, you may want to consider a facility with
electrical hookups or consider renting a generator that provides
electrical power whenever you need it. |

TOWING YOUR RENTAL
CAMPER — |
| Our tent campers are very
light and therefore easy to tow. It is always advisable to check
with the dealer of your planned tow vehicle to check on towing weight
limits. We have several sizes of pop-up tent campers, the Cobalt or Taos weighs 1250 pounds,
the Santa Fe 1800 pounds, the Sun Valley 2200
pounds. The Quicksilver tent campers are even lighter, the 8.0 only weighs 865 pounds, the 10.0 1050 pounds and the 10.0 SUT Toy Hauler 1800 pounds. In general, virtually any truck or SUV is more than capable
of towing any unit, even a six cylinder passenger car can usually
tow the smaller Quicksilver 8.0. |
| |
| You will need a 2" trailer
ball attached to at least a Class II hitch, with a seven way round trailer
wiring connection. We do not install hitches or do wiring on tow vehicles but
any qualified hitch installer can perform this work for you. If you need a
recommendation on a hitch installer, please call us at 303/680-3670. |

SETTING UP YOUR
CAMPER — |
| The Fleetwood and Quicksilver campers are not
only two of the highest quality campers on the market; they are both known for ease of
set-up. Allow yourself about 15 minutes to set-up and you will have plenty of
time to enjoy your first day of camping. |
- Undo roof latches.
- Remove crank for roof (for Santa Fe, in storage below
door, for Taos inside door in storage cabinet). Insert crank in socket at rear
of camper and crank up roof until crank stops (let the kids do it, it's
easy).
- Slide out front bed, pull down attached bed supports
from underneath bed and attach to camper frame. Repeat for rear bed.
- Step inside camper. Raise galley to operational position. Rotate tent bows to upright position at end of bed. Attach tent support bars over beds.
- Unsnap door overhead. Lower door
down into doorframe. Engage toggles at top of door. Attach tent fabric to
doorframe with Velcro attached.
- Set up dinette table.
- Attach bungie cords at bottom of tent fabric to hooks underneath bed frames.
- HAVE FUN!
